Name of Subcommittee - Arhat Touch
Purpose
Arhat Touch is a worldwide chain of classes that aims to revive and maintain interest and participation in the Jain religious tradition and promoting a deeper and more meaningful insight into Jain philosophy. Arhat Touch is a 4 year programme of weekly classes (term time) from the age of 4 onwards. The mission of the Arhat Touch programme is to create a modern pathshala and environment for children across the world to learn and internalise the rich culture of Jainism in a scientific, practical, and enjoyable manner. The classes run every Sunday (Term time).
Activities
Every year, we organize a wide range of special activities in addition to our regular Sunday classes. Such as celebration of love for all on Valentines Day. Mothers and Father’s Day, Sleepovers incorporating spiritual and sports, Yoga sessions, Charity events such as the Midnight Walk, Visit to elderly peoples home, family picnics, Participating in seva to the community in the form in serving food during Ayambil. Children showcasing their learning on stage in the format of role playing or dancing. This also boosts their confidence at a very young age.
